The project shows how old structures can be rejuvenated. The understanding of the concept, as well as an intensive approach to the current situation, allow for a dialogue between old and new. The sensitive treatment of the materials and expansion of the ensemble with a pavilion-like connection strengthen the core of the location. The new, transparent structure connects the two existing buildings together, defines the entrance (address generation), and serves as a viewing window.
