With the “Österreich-Haus”, the architectural-cultural tradition of Austria and the Alps will be contemporarily reinterpreted.
Cosiness and atmosphere will be palpable to guests and athletes in the form of select materials (timber inside, larch shingles on the facade, stone, loden). The content (functions) of the building will be visible outside and blend into a cohesive concept via a 2-floor plenum inside.
The wooden house split into modules relies on its space flow and unmistakable emblematic nature, and shall serve as the symbol.
