The nominations for the Salzburg State Architecture Award 2026 have been announced. Out of 44 submitted projects, 18 were shortlisted and selected for site visits by the jury.

The winner will be announced at the award ceremony on 15 October 2026 at the Architekturhaus Salzburg.
Celebrating its 50th anniversary, the Salzburg State Architecture Award once again attracted overwhelming interest. A total of 44 completed projects were submitted to the biennial competition recognizing the best architectural works in the province of Salzburg.
Following intensive deliberations and a two-day tour of the shortlisted projects, the jury selected 18 projects for the final round. One of these will receive the Salzburg State Architecture Award 2026.
