Competence Park

2008 | Salzburg

The primary goal when developing the Competence Park Salzburg, a new scientific campus near the old town, was the creation of a signifying overall ensemble.

Through the transition from narrow alleyways and broad squares the old town motif is integrated and spatial potential is created outdoors.

The building shapes deviate from the surrounding structures with their alignments and proportions. The issue of folding ramps to the lower central square will also be integrated into the buildings.

All layouts allow for optimally flexible usage and sharing possibilities for future lab and office use.
