COMP Gusswerk

The project was developed in cooperation with hobby a.

The primary goal was to maintain the unmistakable, industrial character of the area and to create a new identity of the Gusswerk for future contemporary usage through careful measures and interventions.

A new, open path through the area and a cohesive outdoor layout, among cast seals laid in the soil with lighting, benches, signs, etc., allow one to experience the Gusswerk as a cohesive ensemble.

A newly constructed tower in the central square will also have an emblematic effect for the area.
