State Prize Timber Construction

The “Austrian State Prize for Timber Construction” will be awarded for the first time. The winners of the Timber Construction Prizes of the federal states from 2023 to 2025 are automatically nominated for the first edition in spring 2026, including three projects by LP architektur:

RMD children`s home | Salzburg
Family Nature Resort Moargut | Großarl
Kindergarten Hallwang | Hallwang

The Austrian State Prize for Timber Construction, which will be awarded for the first time in 2026, recognizes timber buildings that exemplify high architectural and spatial planning standards with the ecological, resource-saving, and innovative use of timber as a building material.

The Austrian State Prize for Timber Construction is awarded by the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Environment, Climate, Regions and Water Management (BMLUK) in cooperation with proHolz Austria.
